The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) may be dissolved by June 19, says Denis Sova, a municipal councilor from Our Party. He urged in social networks all councilors - "to return to the legal field".

"If by June 19, the CMC does not make any decisions, the council may be disbanded under the law. There are already all the prerequisites for this," Sova said.

He wrote that not only the 2025 budget, which has not been adopted yet and Chisinau is living with the financial parameters of the 2024 budget, but also more than 400 issues that have passed the specialized commissions and are awaiting approval, are on the agenda of the CMC.

"Chisinau had a practice when the budget was adopted in summer. A similar situation, by the way, is observed in Moldova's second largest city, Balti. It is possible to live on the budget of the previous year. But there are issues that cannot be delayed: land, financial, trivial write-offs of fixed assets. Not to approve these issues is a slow collapse, a time bomb, and it will come back to us," the councilor wrote.

Denis Sova believes that PAS, having no real achievements either at the republican or local level before the parliamentary elections, instead of real initiatives to convene CMC meetings, prefers to organize political shows for the sake of "likes and memes in social networks."
